In times of crisis, God raises up unlikely leaders like Gideon, who was faithful in secret before becoming a public figure. True leadership begins with seeking God in prayer and maintaining humility—recognizing our weakness allows God's strength to shine through. Before Gideon could lead Israel against the Midianites, he had to address compromise in his own home, teaching us that integrity starts in private. God intentionally reduced Gideon's army from 32,000 to just 300 men to demonstrate that victory comes through His power, not human strength. Today, God continues to call ordinary people to become modern Gideons who are both willing and able to advance His kingdom despite overwhelming odds.
